Join us for fishing on the River Irt, a hidden gem in the 

English Lake District

We are a small club with big support for the river ecology. We believe in fish and river conservation as a basis for the future of fishing for all. We work closely with the West Cumbria Rivers Trust to maintain our fishing and preserve fish stcks. We encourage catch and release at all times of the year.

The fishing is sometimes wild and remote and always in the shadow of Scafell Pike and Great Gable. There are some small parking areas that can be used, but access to some parts of the river is by foot only and can be challenging
